Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer (Security Officer Flex TWIC Mobile Patrol Driver) in Houston, TX. Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property complies with client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy).
• Must be available for last‑minute shift scheduling and willing to travel the required distance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.

Additional Considerations

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic) is a plus.
• Prior security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is desirable.

Pay

Rate: $17.22 per hour.

Schedule

Work 30–40 hours per week. Shifts vary week to week based on manager‑assigned shifts and self‑scheduling through the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program. Expect irregular shifts with little to no advance notice, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
