Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement within the location, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
- Support daily operations at a financial services location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing assigned reports related to security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements
- A New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
