Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, following visitor and entry procedures while reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• This position is primarily a driving post.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
