Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unusual conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, processing areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorization, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining required entry and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
