Security Officer Flex Holiday Shift Patrol

This position is for a Security Officer Flex Holiday Shift Patrol in Bellevue, WA, serving clients across industries such as healthcare, education, finance, and retail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property complies with client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available for last‑minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel required distances for Branch Flex assignments.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Other Related Attributes That Would Enhance Hiring Consideration

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic).
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Pay

$22.60 per hour

Schedule

You can expect to work 30–40 hours per week, offering steady income and opportunities for growth. Your schedule will vary week to week, based on a combination of manager‑assigned shifts and those you pick up through the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift self‑scheduling program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments change regularly, making this role ideal for adaptable, dependable individuals. Be prepared to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice to support client needs.
