Security Officer - Flex Guard

About the role

This position focuses on customer service and building meaningful connections while working in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. As a Concierge Security Officer, you will engage with people on all shifts, reassuring and inspiring confidence through your natural ability to interact with others.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better
• If you have or able to obtain a Texas Security License

Pay & schedule

• Location: Temple, Texas
• Set schedule: Must be available to work all shifts and days of the week
• This position is non-guaranteed of hours but has a strong possibility for 32–40 hours each week
• Competitive hourly wage varies based on site – Pay $17.00 (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)
