About the role

The Security Professional Branch Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more. In this role, you can expect to work 30–40 hours per week, offering steady income and opportunities for growth. Your schedule will vary week to week, based on a combination of manager-assigned shifts and those you pick up through our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift self-scheduling program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments will change regularly, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals who are adaptable, dependable, and ready to take on new challenges. Please note that you will be assigned to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice to support client needs. Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

Requirements

• Be available to work varying Branch Flex shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Have at least one year of security-related experience (verifiable and relevant to the position)
• Have reliable transportation for Branch Flex assignments
• Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be available to accept Branch Flex shifts scheduled with limited notice
• Be able to travel required distances for Branch Flex assignments
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment)

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant security experience prior to employment
• Valid driver's license per AU Driver Policy Requirements
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Reliable transportation for punctuality and attendance at varying locations
• Ability to commute to branch location without significant delays
• Preparedness for last-minute shift scheduling and sudden schedule changes

Skills

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience

Pay

$17.94 per hour

Schedule

30–40 hours per week. Schedule varies week to week based on manager-assigned shifts and self-scheduled shifts via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments change regularly. Irregular shifts assigned with little to no advance notice. Must be available for holidays, nights, weekends, and last-minute scheduling.
