Security Officer - Flex Clearance Required

About the role

This is a part-time, enhanced security officer position based in Fort Worth, TX. The role offers a fixed weekly shift as a reliable base schedule, with the additional flexibility to pick up extra shifts through a scheduling platform. This allows for variable hours, from part-time up to full-time (40 hours per week), making it suitable for those seeking income stability with schedule control.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and report observations according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain required logs and reports.
• Assist with the protection of controlled areas, equipment, and sensitive materials by following applicable site policies and escalation protocols.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of experience in security-related roles.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$22.56 per hour
