Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or credential checkpoints to help control authorized access for staff, contractors, deliveries, and other approved visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Document visitor activity, access events, and/or daily observations, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including access points, parking areas, and receiving/shipping areas, as required by site needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
