Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification steps, and/or security-related protocols at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, review identification and/or visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, delivery zones, and/or operational spaces.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, parking areas, and/or the perimeter, noting potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues based on the working environment and conditions at the location.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
