Security Officer - First Shift Weekends

As a Security Officer Screening Compliance in Whitestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation; direct authorized personnel to appropriate entry points and/or locations.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and policy violations, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, screening areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; document observations and complete required reports.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
