About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location in Yuma, AZ. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication. You will contribute to a caring, people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and follow appropriate emergency response procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, storage areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
- Monitor activity for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and site policy violations, and report security-related concerns according to established procedures.
- Document patrol activity and incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal personnel.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.94 / hour
Schedule
- Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
