Security Officer Experienced Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer Full Time Experienced Mobile Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will help support security-related operations at retail and logistics locations through routine vehicle and foot patrols, visible presence, and professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to respond to incidents, communicate clearly, and help deter concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, logistics operations, loading docks, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual conditions, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while supporting a professional environment for employees, visitors, customers, and delivery personnel.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour
