As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control, support badge processes, monitor security-related systems, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. You will help create a professional, secure environment through exceptional customer service, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front-desk policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility, receive incoming calls and deliveries, and direct visitors to appropriate contacts or designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with site personnel, transportation partners, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, access requests, and unusual activity.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
