As a Security Officer Evening Shift Facility Patrol in Hunt Valley, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, facility concerns, and access-control issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws)
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
