Responsibilities
- Police hospital facilities
- Provide security checks at front entrance
- Detain and question individuals as needed
- Respond to fire alerts
- Monitor Close Circuit TV (CCTV)
- Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- N.Y.S. Security Officer License
- Current 8 Hour Annual Security Guard Training Certificate
- Initial 16 Hour on the Job Security Guard Training Certificate
- N.Y.S. Drivers License
- BCLS via American Heart Association
- Knowledge of CCTV and Radio
Qualifications
- Previous law enforcement experience preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred
Pay
$32.183 per hour
Schedule
Full-Time (75 hours biweekly), Evenings, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
