As a Security Officer Entry Operations in Knoxville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to healthcare location staff, patients, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor sign-in records in accordance with site requirements.
• Assist with managing visitor, contractor, and delivery access while helping to maintain orderly movement through designated entrances and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated entrances, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monday: 2:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
