Security Officer Entry Level

About the role

As a Security Officer in Marston, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building exteriors, perimeter locations, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual conditions to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (qualified applications with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
