Security Officer Entry Inspector

As a Security Officer Entry Inspector in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies for a technology and communications location.
• Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or equipment entering designated areas, document findings, and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry points, visitor flow, and credential presentation to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted or sensitive areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• CPR certification.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
