Security Officer Entrance Screening

About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Part‑Time Security Officer – Entrance Screening in Carthage, TX. In this role you will manage access control at a food and beverage production location, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide outstanding customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel as directed to support controlled access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly; communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter, documenting security‑related observations and reporting irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.75 per hour (weekly pay).

Schedule

• Tuesday: 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM
• Friday: 8:30 PM – 4:30 AM
• Saturday: 4:30 PM – 4:30 AM
