Security Officer Enhanced Security

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information through required reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or access concerns.
• Monitor entry points, observe site activity, and support access control practices to help to deter unauthorized presence and/or policy violations.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, visitors, and/or first responders as needed regarding security-related matters, alarms, disturbances, and other on-site concerns.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
