Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and security-related support throughout the retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, support crowd flow during busy periods, and report policy violations or maintenance concerns.
• Complete routine activity logs, incident reports, and/or other required documentation related to patrol observations, customer interactions, and security-related events.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Security experience of 6+ months is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Skills

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Security experience of 6+ months is required.
