Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, loading and shipping areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, following post orders and reporting irregularities or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by observing equipment yards, trailer areas, dock doors, and common areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions to the location.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
