Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
- Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and operational notifications; document and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
- Dispatch patrol personnel and coordinate responses to incidents, critical situations, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and communications records in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Monitor cameras, access control systems, and other security-related technology; report unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
