Allied Universal® offers a flexible, part-time Security Officer – Enhanced position designed for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Reception in Cleveland, OH, you’ll commit to a fixed weekly shift for six months while having the option to claim extra shifts through our scheduling platform. This role allows you to scale your hours—work part-time one week and full-time the next—with the potential to build up to 40 hours per week.

Pay

$18.20 per hour

Schedule

• Daytime shift: Friday, 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM (fixed anchor shift)
• Additional shifts available via Claim-A-Shift program

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing individuals to appropriate banking services or personnel.
• Monitor access to the front desk area, verify visitor credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures, including reporting unusual activity, policy violations, and potential concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment for customers, employees, and visitors.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; Allied Universal considers qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
