Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the Role

This part-time enhanced position offers a fixed-shift commitment with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through the Claim-A-Shift program. It is designed for individuals seeking reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the option to earn more by working extra shifts when available.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay and Schedule

• Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour
• Schedule: Daytime, Friday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fixed-Shift Commitment: You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.
