As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Retail Patrol in Calabasas, CA, you will have a fixed anchor shift with the option to claim additional shifts via the scheduling platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation (as required by law).
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Pay

$19.25 per hour.

Schedule

Fixed anchor shift: Monday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (six‑month commitment). Ability to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings and work up to 40 hours per week as desired.
