As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Site Assessment in Marina Del Rey, CA, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay

$21.50 / hour

Schedule

• Fixed-shift commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): Designated site and weekly shift serving as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Flexibility to work part-time one week and full-time the next, scaling up to 40 hours per week or scaling back as needed.
• Example shift: Wednesday 10:00 PM – 08:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and assist with directing individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
