As an Unarmed Patrol Inspection officer in Nashville, TN, you will have reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the ability to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay

$19.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Monday 07:30 AM – 05:00 PM (fixed‑shift “anchor shift” with a six‑month commitment; additional shifts can be claimed via the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program, allowing part‑time or full‑time weekly totals up to 40 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and government facility personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with government location requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to authorized areas.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• At least three years of security‑related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles (21 years for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements as required by state or local regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
