Pay Rate
$17.25 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols for a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support access control procedures for staff, guests, and/or deliveries.
- Document daily activities, observations, and incident information, and assist with emergency response activities in accordance with post orders and client-facing expectations.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
