As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Martin, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay

$17.20 per hour

Schedule

Fixed shift: Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (DayTime)

This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment to the designated site and weekly shift ("Anchor Shifts"). In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform (Claim-A-Shift Program), allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours one week and full-time the next — it's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of manufacturing operations and changing site conditions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.
