As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Fort Washington, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and supporting an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required per Allied Universal driver policy).
• Minimum age 21 years (for this role).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local regulations.

Pay

$19.44 per hour

Schedule

Fixed‑shift commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): hired for a designated site and weekly shift as a reliable base schedule (six‑month commitment). In addition, you may pick up extra shifts via the Claim‑A‑Shift program to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, with the ability to work part‑time or up to 40 hours per week and scale back as needed. The base shift runs Saturday 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
