Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare and biopharmaceutical location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, laboratory-adjacent areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and facility conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, maintain required logs, and report security-related incidents or policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following procedures for restricted areas, deliveries, and emergency evacuations.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
