Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying access requirements, and reporting concerns according to post instructions.
• Support a professional atmosphere at the location by assisting with routine resident interactions, reporting maintenance-related concerns observed during patrols, and following Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
