Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and potential security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting observations and incidents in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
