As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol CPR Preparedness in Santa Fe Springs, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading docks, warehouse areas, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, employee, and delivery personnel credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
