Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, offers a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position in Moreland, GA. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through the Claim‑A‑Shift program, allowing you to supplement income, gain experience, or work toward a full‑time career.

Pay

$18.54 per hour

Schedule

Fixed‑shift commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six‑month commitment. In addition, you may claim extra shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next, with the ability to scale up to 40 hours per week or scale back as needed. The posted shift runs from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (DayTimeSat).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail and mall common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, property concerns, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
• Meet any state/local licensing requirements prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
