Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and security-related protocols throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may need attention.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents according to site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities, follow post orders, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment within a manufacturing and industrial location.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
