Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced Mobile Patrol in Pharr, TX, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Scale your hours from part-time to full-time (up to 40 hours per week) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report irregularities.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
