DayTime Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to enforce location rules, direct foot traffic, and report security-related concerns involving restricted or sensitive areas.
• Support daily healthcare operations by assisting with de-escalation, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes morgue areas.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• For driving positions only, a valid driver’s license will be required.
