Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter routes, remaining aware of changing conditions common to an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor requirements, and report unusual behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and other security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and/or maintenance issues, and support site rules intended to help to deter disruptions, theft, and unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
