Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
- Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and employees entering and leaving the location, following site-specific post orders and reporting concerns to the appropriate contact.
- Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing facility activity, reporting hazards or suspicious behavior, and completing required reports before the end of the shift.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
