Pay Rate
$16.00 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and/or control access to restricted areas in line with post orders and facility protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Support emergency response activities, document daily operations and incident details, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
