Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and other personnel at a utility operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and public emergency services when directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
