This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position is a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Processing Driver in Fernandina Beach, FL, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Scale your hours up to 40 per week or back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery information.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and access-related logs; communicate access concerns to site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to report unusual conditions and deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for this role per Allied Universal driver policy).
• State, county, or city-issued security-related license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
