DayTime Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directional support, badge verification, and/or restricted area observation in alignment with site expectations.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by communicating clearly with staff and first responders during medical, fire, and/or other emergency-related events.

Minimum Requirements

• Required vaccinations for a hospital environment are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
