Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Bicycle Mobility Patrol

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Bicycle Mobility Patrol in West Hollywood, CA, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Scale your hours up to 40 per week or back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, facilities, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting incidents, patrols, and relevant observations in accurate daily activity reports.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, or policy violations to designated personnel.

Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
