This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility grounds, access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift pass-down information in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Schedule

DayTimeSat08:00 PM - 08:00 AM, with the flexibility to pick-up additional shifts.

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed shift, with the option to earn more by picking-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform.
