Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification practices, and/or government location protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and/or authorization documents, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and/or incident documentation in accordance with location policies and reporting expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for security-related concerns and reporting conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
