DayTime Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting activity through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, transit areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, as conditions vary throughout the location.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Work with site personnel, visitors, and/or local first responders during routine operations, special situations, and emergency events.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
